I’ve styled before, but I wouldn’t necessarily refer to myself as a stylist.
It’s kind of like my side thing along with doing makeup & blogging.
But in actuality I want to become a Tv/Radio Personality someday.
I admire Oprah, Ellen, & Wendy (well…i don’t look up to Wendy but I admire her ambition, lol)
I really appreciate you asking this question and seeing where my head is at. Thank you! I wish I could get more questions like this!
^_^ Thank you babylove! <333
Awww, no problemo love. You’re absolutely welcome :)))
I CAN’T count the number of times my braids have fallen out! My secret was to either wrap my braids into a bun or tie a scarf (to cover all the missing hair) LOL!
Only thing I can really tell you is try not to pull at them too tightly, and don’t always put them into a bun (like I always do).
But to be honest there’s really no way around it :(
Yayyy!!! That’s what I’m talking about!!!
Here’s some tips:
1. Have a list or an idea of what you would like to purchase (so that way you don’t end up spending a lot of money on a bunch of things you aren’t gonna wear- this always happens to me!)
2. Keep an open mind (this contradicts #1 but thrifting is usually a hit or miss, you can’t always expect to find what you had in mind)
3. Check EVERYTHING & EVERYWHERE (you never know what you may find in the men’s or kid’s section, and don’t forget the jewelry section!)
4. Don’t be afraid to dig through piles of unorganized clothes, you usually end up finding a gem!
5. Make sure you try everything on! And if something doesn’t fit right PUT IT BACK unless you have an online shop, lol. (I’ve come home plenty of times w/ clothes that don’t fit thinking I could work my way around it…and i played myself as well as my wallet!)
Here are some ideas as to what to shop for:
Tops:
Bottoms:
Prints/Trends:
Shoes:
There’s a lot more things I can’t think…:(
But I hope this helps, somewhat :)
